Nursing and Midwifery

- at Hawke's Bay DHB

The purpose of the Nursing and Midwifery Shared Governance Committee is to provide a consultative forum for nursing and midwifery leaders (representing their respective areas) to participate in discussion, decision-making and/or referral of professional matters that impact on clinical practice and patient care.  A transparent and effective shared communication and decision-making process will ensure an intentional and responsive approach to advancing nursing and midwifery practice, to better meet the needs of the community we serve.
