Pukekohe Hospital has a primary birthing unit and a rehabilitation and care ward. It also offers some specialist outpatient clinics and community services, delivering care close to home for people living in the south of Auckland.
There is no emergency or primary care (family doctor) services available on-site.
If you cannot wait to see your usual doctor, nurse or healthcare provider, or you do not have one, go to an after hours or urgent care medical centre. They can help you with things like bad cuts, sprains or breaks, minor head injuries, or if you are feeling really sick. You do not need an appointment but might have to wait.

Pukekohe Hospital provides six disability car parks at the front entrance. Additional parking is available along the driveway for patients. There are also 30 parking spaces for both patients and staff on the left as you enter the main drive. All parking is free, but space is limited, so please allow extra time for parking before your appointment.
Visiting hours for family/whaanau are from 2pm to 8pm, with a limit of two visitors per patient at any one time during these hours.
Patients may have one key support person who can visit between 8am and 8pm, restricted to adults only.
Overnight visiting (8pm to 8am) for the key support person will be considered only under compassionate grounds.
No children under 16 years are allowed unless approved under compassionate grounds.
All buildings and grounds within Health New Zealand Counties Manukau facilities are smokefree.

ITS, in partnership with Counties Manukau Health, offers 24/7 interpreting and translation services to various government and private agencies. Within Counties Manukau and for Primary Healthcare providers, interpreting services are free, ensuring clear communication between patients and healthcare providers to prevent misdiagnosis and inappropriate treatment.
With a team of over 230 interpreters fluent in more than 90 languages and dialects, ITS specializes in medical, court, police, and government agency interpreting. Services are available on-site, via telephone, or through video conferencing, covering languages from Asian, African, European, Middle Eastern, and Pacific Island regions.
